During the reporting period of 2026, the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population arranged the adoption of 70 children.
Of them, 34 are girls and 36 are boys.
To monitor the well-being of adopted children in their new families, assessments are conducted every quarter during the first year following adoption and once a year in subsequent years until the child reaches the age of 18.
It should also be noted that individuals who adopt children deprived of parental care receive a monthly social allowance (AZN 240 for each child aged 3–18 and AZN 600 for each child with a disability).
In addition, they benefit from a number of privileges in the areas of social protection, labor relations, and taxation.
